A Christmas Poem and Video

Twas the day of Christmas
In the house of white
The kids had overflowed
With plastic toy delight
The gifts were all unwrapped
Mounds of paper had been removed
The chocolate and gingerbread had been eaten
To Santa Clause my kids did groove
The turkey is still to be cooked
The stuffing still to be made
With a bare tree in the house
Into my bed I would like to be laid
But the day is yet to be over
Dolls, cars and movies galore
Have yet to be played with
For Christmas joy who could ask for anything more?
Merry Christmas one and all
From Blogging Mama and her wild ones
Into a new year we do go
Fun will be had by tons
