The Good Life

I’m back. The internet is connected again thankfully and that means I can get back to being me. You might have notice I’m going to be a commenting fiend over the weekend I ‘m so giddy to be able to read blogs again. Unfortunately I can’t read every post and visit every blog because after two weeks of nada-zip-zilch-zero internet, it’s just not possible. Well it is possible but I’m not going to be able to do it.

In my internet-less state over the past two weeks it’s been really strange not to que up the computer and sit down with a cup of java and start my day the way I have been for the last year or two. In many ways it’s been nice because I’ve been reading more (and bad because I also get sucked into books until after midnight), doing more hands on playing with my kids and I was able to tackle quite a few of the remaining thirty or so boxes scattered about the living areas of the house. I even baked some lemon poppy seed bread and I plan to get around to Multi-Tasking Mommy’s Chocolate Cake sometime next week. (I’m linking the recipe from her site but be warned just looking at the picture may add about five pounds to your waistline).

Of course now that the internet is back on I’m thrilled. I can order pizza online. I can find what I need like addresses and phone numbers.

The kids and I are off to watch The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Now that the internet is on, life is good!

  1. Andrea, I'm so glad we connected again! Feel free to comment on my blog. Mine is basically just for my family, so they don't really know how to comment on blogs, but you're welcome to pop on and read mine if you'd like. 🙂

  2. Oh congrats on getting your internet hooked up. Mine was down for a week too and I just had to hit the “read all” button on my google reader. :)Hope all is going well in PA!!
