You all know I like wine. I’ve a great fondness for my home state wine, Chateau St Michelle Reisling and Chardonnay. I like Chadds Ford (my current local winery) and recently discovered Smoking Loon which was divine.
So when I was contacted about attending the New York Wine Expo I though shazam! that’s my kind of place. It’s also being held the day I move. Can we say BUMMER?
But just because I can’t attend doesn’t mean you should miss out. Here’s the best part. If you buy your tickets before February 19th you can use this code BLOGGING to get an additional $10 off your admission price. That’s money for a bottle of decent wine people. If you’re in the NYC area and are interested in attending here are the details:
The 3rd Annual New York Wine Expo, February 26th & 27th is an opportunity to swirl and sip wines from around the globe. Friday admission: $75 in advance; Saturday admission: $85 in advance

If you end up attending please stop back and let me know how it was. If you write up your experience on your own blog I’ll give you a little linky love as well. This is a great way to try lots of wines you may otherwise not have a chance to taste. It can also help you find what you like and don’t like without having to buy an entire bottle. For help in describing what you are tasting Alder Yarrow’s Wine Blog Vinography has an excellent cheat sheet tasting card and you can print it for free here: Vinography Tasting Sheet
